Symposium on Social Determinants of Health

The University of Cape Coast, in Collaboration with Central University, Ghana and the University of Alabama, USA, is organising symposium on the theme “Social Determinants of Health”. The symposium is the first of a series of symposia to be organised by the institutions.

The symposium is intended to foster international partnerships for research and policy formulation in the area of  health. The symposium will offer opportunity to stakeholders to discuss selected topical issues in health care delivery such as healthcare delivery and quality of care, medical child health disease management and mental health, coping and stigma related to chronic disease, education and practices, and translational research from bench to practice and policy.
